SAFETY, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH&SAFETY (OHS) AND QUALITY POLICY

DİTAŞ Deniz İşletmeciliği ve Tankerciliği A.Ş. and subsidiaries undertake to comply with the following issues within the framework of this policy.
  • The International Safety Management Code (ISM Code), ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Tanker Management Self Assessment (TMSA) Program 3 and ILO requirements,
  • To work in harmony with the Koç Group policies and procedures,
  • To act in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals within the scope of the United Nations Global Compact and integrating these objectives into all business processes.
  • To implement safe practices in ship operations, to provide a healthy and safe working environment for our colleagues, to develop approaches to prevent possible occupational diseases,
  • To manage our operational activities on the basis of continuous improvement,
  • To establish safeguards against all identified risks; and continuously improve the Safety, OHS and Quality Management skills of personnel ashore and aboard, including preparing for emergencies related to safety,
  • To improve the OHS, safety and quality responsibility, awareness and culture of the personnel
  • To make the necessary effort to achieve zero accident target,
  • To improve our OHS, quality and safety performance using best available technology,
  • To prevent human injury or loss of life,
  • To satisfy the company's objectives to attain and maintain the desired quality and safety standards,
  • To carry out risk assessments and take necessary measures and precautions,
  • To improve Integrated Management System continuously and to revise procedures accordingly by setting the targets periodically, following performance, analyzing incidents, identifying root causes,
  • To review Integrated Management System in a planned manner for provision of the continuity of conformity and effectiveness of it,
  • To provide all necessary resources including maintaining of optimum spare parts inventory on the vessels for continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System,
  • To act in accordance with the national and international legal regulations and other obligations that we are responsible for in this context, in all geographies where we operate, in new investments and operations,
  • To aim to be a leader in the field of OHS, safety and quality in the sectors in which we operate, sharing good practices, developing cooperation.
  • To ensure quality of each operation and service in order to keep the customer satisfaction at utmost level,
  • To integrate international good practices, principles and standards in OHS, quality and safety matters into our business processes,
  • To encourage our colleagues to increase their positive contribution to OHS, quality and safety performance.
  • To carry out activities aimed at raising the level of awareness on safety, quality, OHS of business partners and care about the sharing of experience and knowledge.
This policy is documented, implemented, maintained and communicated to all persons working for and on behalf of the organization and it is available to the public.

All company personnel and contractor personnel are expected to know and comply with this policy.
