Brokerage
As Ditaş, we provide brokerage services to our parent company Tüpraş, which is the largest industrial company in Türkiye, by finding suitable vessels in national and international markets for the transportation of crude oil and petroleum product cargoes.
Our organization is based on "in-house brokerage" system. The Commercial Affairs Directorate within our company is staffed by experienced and competent brokers who provide professional brokerage services.
Since our first priority is to secure the transportation needs of Tüpraş, our subsidiary Tüpraş, brokerage services are primarily provided to Tüpraş, but services are also provided for other companies.
Crude Oil
Ditaş organizes the transportation of all crude oil purchased on FOB basis by Tüpraş, Türkiye's only refinery company.
Petroleum Products
Tüpraş supplies 36 types of petroleum products throughout Türkiye. It also exports to the world market the products it produces in excess of domestic demand. In sales which require sea transportation both domestically and internationally, Ditaş organizes the transportation of the portion sold by Tüpraş as CFR. Our company also carries out product transportation between refineries.
In crude oil and product transportation for Tüpraş, T/C (time charter) or V/C (voyage charter) charters are made when the tankers in our facility are not sufficient. In T/C or V/C charters, a comprehensive market research is conducted and the most suitable vessel for Tüpraş among the price offers received from local and foreign shipowners is chartered with the approval of Tüpraş.
"Post fixture" procedures related to the chartered vessels are also carried out within the scope of brokerage.
