As Ditaş, we provide terminal vetting services for ships arriving at Tüpraş's Izmit and Izmir refineries.
The purpose of the terminal inspection service is to make risk assessments of the ships arriving at Tüpraş refineries and to ensure that the vessels calling at Tüpraş refineries are at the minimum risk level, thereby protecting the environment, establishing safety, protecting assets and reputation. For this purpose, the inspection service, which has been in force since 2010, is applied to all vessels without any restrictions on vessel type, age and tonnage. Inspections are carried out by identifying target vessels.
Tüpraş vessel inspections are not a part of SIRE system and inspection results are kept confidential and not shared with any person or organization other than the master and operator of the vessel and Tüpraş.
Detailed information on Tüpraş vessel inspection practices can be found in the current edition of the INTERTANKO publication "A Guide To The Vetting Process".
