As Ditaş, together with all our subsidiaries, we bear the responsibility of creating a working environment that respects people and society as well as making sustainable economic and social contributions. Our Ethical Principles, which covers the basic principles of behavior of our company, our transparent policies and standards have been our most important tool to ensure that our employees and business partners act in accordance with high ethical values.
In this context, the idea created under the leadership of Vehbi Koç, the founder of our Group, "It is our principle to act in good faith and understanding, to always comply with the laws and moral rules in order to ensure fairness, mutual benefit in all our relations" is a guiding principle for all of us.
Since our establishment, we have been acting in compliance with ethical values, transparent, fair business conduct, universal human rights and laws. With the aim of ensuring more effective management of the Company's compliance risks and to better respond to the expectations of local and international stakeholders in the field of compliance, Ditaş Ethical Principles were established in 2021 within the scope of the Koç Group Compliance Program. These ethical principles guide both Ditaş and its subsidiaries and business partners. While compliance with the Ditaş Ethical Principles is the duty of all Ditaş and its subsidiaries' employees, Ditaş senior management is expected to show leadership in this regard.
The Compliance Program is a set of rules, policies and procedures that aim to identify and manage Ditaş's compliance-related issues with a risk-based approach. The Compliance Program brings together the corporate compliance culture supported by senior management and monitored by the Legal and Compliance Consultancy, and the written standards throughout Ditaş with the participation of all employees.
The main components of the Ditaş Compliance Program are prevention, detection and response.
Ditaş Ethical Principles draws a comprehensive framework for Ditaş employees and all stakeholders, especially on issues such as human rights, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, prevention of conflict of interest, economic sanctions, privacy and information protection, occupational health and safety.
Accordingly, many compliance-related policies, including Sanctions and Export Controls, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Supply Chain, Human Rights, Protection of Personal Data, Donations and Sponsorship, which are included in the Ditaş Compliance Program, have been developed and approved by the Ditaş Board of Directors.
