ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

DİTAŞ Deniz İşletmeciliği ve Tankerciliği A.Ş. and its subsidiaries are committed to the following within the scope of environmental management;

To comply with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and related MARPOL requirements,
To continuously improve the Environmental Management skills of personnel ashore and on board to protect against all identified risks and prepare for environmental emergencies,
To prevent damage to the environment,
To ensure environmentally friendly practices, a pollution-free working environment and zero pollution in ship operations,
To explain to all company and ship personnel all their duties and responsibilities regarding environmental protection according to existing procedures and to ensure their implementation,
To comply with national and international legal regulations and other obligations related to the environment in the geographies where it operates,
To set targets for improving environmental performance, plan actions, monitor the results and focus on continuous improvement,
To assess the environmental impact of its new investments, to ensure environmental protection, emergency and environmental risk management,
To realize activities that will contribute to combating the climate crisis and transition to a low carbon economy by considering the climate-related risks and opportunities of its activities,
To control the environmental impact of its services throughout their life cycle,
To reduce the environmental impacts caused by energy consumption, water consumption, resource consumption by using the best available techniques, and to use natural resources efficiently,
To aim to increase studies on energy efficiency performance and the use of renewable energy sources,
To prevent waste generation, waste reduction, waste recovery, waste management in accordance with national and international legislation,
To protect natural ecosystems in the areas where it operates and to focus on continuous improvement and development,
To carry out activities for its employees, suppliers, subcontractors and other operational stakeholders to implement this Policy; to encourage business partners to reduce their environmental impact, improve their environmental performance and develop their capacity,
To carry out communication and cooperation activities with relevant institutions and organizations in the development of legal regulations, other requirements, policies and standards related to environmental management,
To closely follow all innovations and developments, scientific research and technologies related to environmental management worldwide,
To aim to be a leader in the field of environment in the sectors in which we operate, to share good practices, to develop cooperation

This policy is documented, implemented, maintained and communicated to all persons working for and on behalf of the organization and made publicly available.

All staff and contractor personnel are expected to know and comply with this policy.

SAFETY, OHS and QUALITY POLICY

DİTAŞ Deniz İşletmeciliği ve Tankerciliği A.Ş. and its subsidiaries undertake to comply with the following matters within the framework of this policy.

To comply with International Safety Management Code (ISM Code), ISO 9001 Quality Management System, Tanker Management Self Assessment (TMSA) Program 3 and ILO requirements,
To work in compliance with Koç Group policies and procedures,
To act in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals within the scope of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and to integrate these goals into all business processes,
To ensure safe practices in ship operations, to provide a healthy and safe working environment for our colleagues, and to develop preventive approaches to possible occupational diseases,
To manage our operational activities within a framework based on continuous improvement,
To continuously improve the Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management skills of personnel ashore and on board, including protecting against all identified risks and preparing for safety emergencies,
To develop personnel's OHS, safety and quality responsibility, awareness and culture,
To make the necessary efforts to achieve zero accident targets,
To improve our OHS, Safety and Quality performance by utilizing the best available technologies,
To prevent injury and loss of life,
To fulfill the company's objectives of achieving the desired quality and safety standards,
To conduct risk assessments and take necessary measures and precautions,
To continuously improve the Integrated Management System and renew the procedures accordingly by setting regular targets, performance monitoring, incident analysis, root cause identification,
To review the Integrated Management System in a planned manner in order to ensure the continuity of its compliance and effectiveness,
To provide all necessary resources for the continuous improvement of the Integrated Management system, including maintaining an optimum inventory of spare parts on vessels,
To act in compliance with national and international legal regulations and other obligations for which we are responsible in all geographies where we operate, in new investments and operations,
To aim to be a leader in OHS, safety and quality in our field of activity, to share good practices and develop cooperation,
To ensure that every operation and service is of high quality to maximize customer satisfaction,
To integrate international best practices, principles and standards on Quality, Safety, Occupational Health and Safety into our business processes,
To encourage our colleagues to increase their positive contribution to quality, safety, occupational health and safety performance,
To carry out activities to increase the level of awareness of business partners on OHS and safety issues, to share experience and information.
