On the 3rd Anniversary of the Women Seafarers Development Program, We Gathered with Our Scholars and Ditaş Women Seafarers
The Women Seafarers Development Program, launched to support women's leadership in the maritime industry, marked its third year with a special event bringing together our scholarship recipients and women seafarers from Ditaş.
Held at Arter, this meaningful gathering featured speeches by Oğuz Toprakoğlu, General Manager of the Vehbi Koç Foundation, and our General Manager Hakan Karaca, who shared the vision and goals of the program with the students.
Dr. Esma Uflaz, Lecturer at ITU Maritime Faculty, delivered an inspiring presentation filled with valuable insights that served as a guiding light for the young women in attendance.
The day concluded with a guided tour of Arter's exhibitions, allowing us to connect with art, followed by a pleasant break in the garden-making it a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.
It is a great honor for us to stand beside our women seafarers and to share this meaningful journey with them.
