We Hosted the Maritime Partners in Safety Mediterranean Group Workshop 2025
We were delighted to host the Maritime Partners in Safety Mediterranean Group Workshop, held on 6 November 2025 in Istanbul.
It was an honour for us to share our common vision on maritime safety, operational excellence, and sustainability during this key event that brought together leading companies in the maritime sector.
The sessions, opened with the keynote speech of DİTAŞ Tankers' CEO Hakan Karaca, addressed several critical topics, including:
- Data-driven analysis of operational risks during berthing operations and proposed solutions to mitigate these risks,
- KPI systems used to measure quality in maintenance and repair processes,
- Compliance with international safety standards in port operations,
- Evaluation of rescue operations carried out under challenging weather conditions,
- Snap-back accidents caused by mooring line failures and human factor analysis,
- The impact of cultural differences within multinational crews on overall safety.
The new structure of the Maritime Partners in Safety program was introduced, highlighting practices aimed at fostering a more transparent, inclusive, and sustainable safety culture through leadership conferences, crew feedback mechanisms, and performance indicators.
We extend our sincere thanks to all Maritime Partners in Safety stakeholders whose contributions and participation made this successful event possible.
